4. Dave Toub, Chiefs

Like Bieniemy, Kansas City Chiefs special teams coordinator has ties to general manager John Dorsey.

He’s the Chiefs’ special teams coach, but he also carries the title of assistant head coach.

There would be a ton of questions regarding how Toub would run the Browns’ offense behind Baker Mayfield. He’d likely hire whichever offensive coordinator he desires to basically have total autonomy of the offense.

He may not be regarded as an offensive or defensive genius, but by hiring Toub, you’d be getting someone to act in the CEO role because of his leadership abilities.

Andry Reid made the following comments on Toub’s leadership last spring following his promotion to assistant head coach, via Pro Football Rumors.

"“Dave has had the opportunity to work with our team on both sides of the football, on the field and in the classroom,” Reid said. “His leadership qualities have entrusted me to promote him to Assistant Head Coach.”"

And if there’s a bright spot to Toub’s hiring, it’d be special teams might finally get fixed.

As the Chiefs continue to blow other teams out, special teams haven’t been a problem.
