The offense can get on track

If there were ever a game for Cleveland’s offense to get back on track, this would be it.

The Chiefs score a ton of points, but they give up a lot of points, too.

Kansas City’s defense ranks 25th against the run and 29th against the pass.

If you’re playing Nick Chubb in fantasy, you might reap some big rewards this week.

Following the Browns disastrous week, so much was made of protecting Baker Mayfield, and rightfully so.

With that in mind, look for Kitches to give plenty of carries to the running backs, which sometimes seemed like an after through with Haley calling the plays.

And when Chubb gets the rock, good things happen. Among running backs with at least 50 rushing attempts,  Chubb leads both PFF’s elusive rating (144.8) category as well as the yards after contact department (5.21).

They key for the offense will be Mayfield connecting with his receivers. Kansas City’s secondary is beatable, now it’s on the available wideouts to produce.

Jarvis Landry is coming off his most disappointing game as a Brown. Haley just couldn’t get him the ball vertically. It seemed like every pass thrown his way was either at the line of scrimmage, or just 2 yards ahead of it.

The offense has really missed Rashard Higgins, who’s out with a hamstring pull. There’s a chance he could return. If he does, I think the receiving corps will be dramatically better.
