It’s at home

Would you rather play this game in Kansas City?

The Browns two wins (and their tie because, hey, it’s not a loss) all came on friendly shores of the lake front.

Say what you want about the Browns, but they play better at FirstEngergy Stadium and I do expect that to be the case when they take the field Sunday.

There’s a lot to prove for Gregg Williams, who may be getting his last chance to be an NFL head coach. Freddie Kitchens has a lot on the line as well. He’s never called plays before. It’s something he’d like to do in the future, now would be a good time to show he can get it done.

It’s a sad state of affairs for the Browns, who just three weeks ago were celebrating a home upset of the Baltimore Ravens.

We were blinded bycockeyed enthusiasm into believing this team could actually contend for the playoffs.

Instead, we’re trying to stave off another disastrous losing streaks against one o the NFL’s brightest up-and-coming juggernauts.

As unlikely as it is, perhaps this team rallies around its coaches and their rookie quarterback. After all, they’ve been in six of the eight games they’ve played this season.

A win here puts the Browns on the front page for battling through adversity to sleigh Mahomes.

A Christmas wish in early November may be a little premature, but fans are looking for any reason to watch this game.
