Five Cleveland Browns whose stock is up following the team’s 2018 home finale, a 26-18 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cleveland Browns find themselves at 7-7-1, and with one week to go, can wrap up their first winning season since 2007, and their third since returning to the NFL in 1999.

The Browns entered the game as favorites, and those orange helmets didn’t disappoint, beating up on an injury ravaged Bengals team that was without quarterback Andy Dalton and star receiver A.J. Green.

The Browns have set themselves up to play spoiler next week.

As Bernie Kosar put it on Twitter, how ironic is it that the Steelers have to root for the Browns to knock off the Ravens in Week 17. Pittsburgh’s loss to New Orleans in Week 16 makes a Cleveland win a necessity.

Some may view the upcoming game as a no-win. The Ravens win and they’re division champions, hosting a playoff game. Or Baltimore loses and Pittsburgh wins, and the Steelers are postseason bound.

I don’t share this view. Instead, I only see things through the orange sun glasses the Haslam family so generously provided me at Training Camp.

The Browns can accomplish something by finishing over .500, giving this fan base the morale boost of all morale boosts in the process. And hurting the Ravens in the process?

I suppose it is Christmas time. Ha!

You play. To win. The games. win it Browns!

Here’s five Browns whose stock is up after the latest victory, a 26-18 victory over Cincinnati, which guaranteed Cleveland its first winning record in the AFC North (since 2002) or the AFC Central before that, since returning to the NFL in 1999..
