5 Cleveland Browns whose stock jumped after another Bengals beatdown
Rashard Higgins
The Browns receiving corps is receiving a ton of credit, as it should. The unit is as deep as it’s been and Higgins maturity has a lot to do with making the the group look like a professional receiving corps.
Mayfield targeted Higgins seven times, completing six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown to the third-year veteran from Colorado State.
One play that really stood out was Higgins reception on Jarvis’ Landry’s bomb.
Landry under threw the ball a little and you’ll notice how Higgins has to slow down to wait for the ball. Not a big deal, as Juice isn’t the quarterback.
But give credit to Higgins for making the adjustment and staying focused through the catch.
Higgins’ touchdown catch was also highlight-reel worthy play.
He showed some speed to get to the outside, and then some athleticism to extend the ball into the pylon.
A great play from a player who looks hungry and wants to be a part of the good things to come for this franchise.
Higgins now has 29 catches for 426 yards and three touchdowns. A solid season for a player who turned a big corner in 2018.
