Charlie Campbell, of WalterFootball.com brought up drops as a mark against Ohio State receiver Parris Campbell.

The Buckeye played a good amount of snaps in the slot, and with faster, stronger defenses awaiting Campbell in the NFL, he’ll have to prove he can hold onto the ball, especially when going over the middle.

With that said, Campbell is coming off a 90-yard, 1,063-yard senior season. He was the Buckeyes best receiver.

While Ohio State and a good sect of Browns fans already know him well, Campbell figures to be a day-2 pick because his game still needs a good bit of polish before he can become a consistent contributor on offense.

He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, but he seemed to play bigger, probably because he’s tough to bring down after the catch.

Speed is also a factor with Campbell, who reportedly can run a sub 4.4 second 40-yard dash time, according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman. He also can jump, reportedly recording a 40-inch vertical leap.

Campbell, a product of Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, where he was a four-star recruit.
