Cleveland Browns 2019 mock draft: Factory of Sadness Version 1.0
By Mike Graham
Picks 9-12
9. Buffalo–D.K. Metcalf-WR-Ole Miss-The Bills need to add weapons for second-year veteran Josh Allen, and D.K. Metcalf qualifies after coming out of the NFL Combine as the biggest winner.
For days, all anyone could talk about was Metcalf’s combination of muscle and speed.
At the Combine, Metcalf boosted his stock with a 4.33-second 40-yard dash, while also posting a 40.5 inch vertical leap. Oh yeah, and there’s the 1.6 percent body fat thing. Yeah, the guy’s ripped, although a recent post on the Factory openly wondered if there were such as thing as being “Too muscle bound.”
10. Denver– Drew Lock-QB-Missouri-It wasn’t regarded as great quarterback class two months ago, but Drew Lock will make the third quarterback taken in the top 10.
Joe Flacco may be fine for now, but eventually, John Elway needs to bring along a future franchise quarterback.
11. Cincinnati– Devin White-LB-LSU-Bengals need someone to set the tone in the middle of the defense and White’s sideline to sideline playmaking is a need to help try to contain Baker Mayfield.
The best linebacker in this draft…too bad he won’t last until 17.
12. Green Bay–Brian Burns-DE-Florida St.-May be a little high for him, but pass rush from the outside has been a consistent problem, and Brian Burns addresses the issues for the Packers.
