Cleveland Browns 2019 mock draft: Factory of Sadness Version 1.0
By Mike Graham
Picks 17-20
17. Cleveland–Clelin Ferrell-DE-Clemson-Browns could go in a number of different directions. There’s the aforementioned trade possibilities, or general manager John Dorsey just may pick a different player altogether.
En route to helping Clemson win the national title, Ferrell tallied 11.5 sacks as well as 20 tackles for a loss. As teams get more pass happy and eager to throw on first down, good luck, because Ferrell ranked among the top 10 players in QB sacks (5), hurries (12) and hits (10).
Adding Ferrell fulfills the obvious need of adding another pass rusher and moves Emmanuel Ogbah inside on pass downs. I know you won’t, but don’t forget Myles Garrett, who is lethal inside as well.
18. Minnesota– Cody Ford-T/G-Oklahoma-Vikings sorely need line help and Cody Ford offers versatility.
19. Tennessee–Marquise Brown-WR-Oklahoma-Titans have been rumored to be sniffing around Antonio Brown, but how about keeping your draft picks and just selecting his cousin, Marquise Brown, who just so happens to be a speed demon?
20. Pittsburgh–Deandre Baker-CB-Georgia-The Steelers defense wasn’t the scary dominant itself it usually, especially in the secondary. Adding Georgia’s Deandre Baker gives Mike Tomlin a tough corner to matchup outside.
