Here’s three ways the Cleveland Browns will benefit after pulling off a mega trade with the New York Giants for Odell Beckham Jr.

Mark it down. March 12, 2019 is the day the Cleveland Browns became legit Super Bowl contenders.

General manager John Dorsey traded for Odell Beckham. The rumors started last year when Beckham started showing up on Jarvis Landry‘s Instagram account. The season played out and Beckham seemingly became attainable.

Speculation hit a fever pitch when OBJ started popping up with Landry and Baker Mayfield on social media accounts around the time of the Super Bowl.

And just when it looked like a trade was going down…the Browns did make a trade with the Giants, for edge rusher Olivier Vernon. The Beckham trade looked defeated.

But this town loves a comeback, and the Browns shocked the football world by pulling off what was once the unthinkable trade.

The terms are as follows: The Giants receive this year’s first- and third-round picks, as well as strong safety Jabrill Peppers.

I’m trying to come down to earth, realizing not everything is as sweet as a Malley’s Buckeye. Beckham has concerns. He’s missed 16 games the past two seasons.
