Cleveland Browns 2019 two-round NFL mock draft: Post OBJ trade edition
By Mike Graham
Picks 11-15
11. Cincinnati-Ed Oliver-DT-Houston-A win here for the Bengals, with Geno Atkins on the back nine, Cincinnati picks a younger version in Ed Oliver to help rush Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson in the AFC North.
Cincinnati’s recent decision to part ways with Vontaze Burfict also speaks to the needs the Bengals have on the defensive side of the ball. It’s a unit that needs revamped
12. Green Bay-TJ Hockenson-TE-Iowa-Packers get the most well rounded tight end of the crop, Green Bay addressed a lot of defensive needs in free agency, which allows them to make the move for T.J. Hockenson.
13. Miami-Christian Wilkins-DT-Alabama-Dolphins take the next interior disrupter, and Christian Wilkins will be the first from Clemson’s vaunted front four to be drafted.
14. Atlanta-Jonah Williams-OL-Alabama-The Falcons haven’t been shy about saying they need upgrades on the offensive line. Maybe Jonah Williams isn’t a tackle, but for the Falcons that is fine. He’s a young plug-and-play starter who can fit anywhere they need him.
15. Washington-DK Metcalf-WR-Ole Miss-Washington because of spending on defense during free agency, is able to get some help for Case Keenum in the form of D.K. Metcalf. Even they go receiver here, Washington should look QB early, may look at one here as well.
Metcalf may prove to be the Combine’s biggest winner as his physical traits elevated him from a potential day-two pick into the mid-first round.
