Cleveland Browns 2019 mock draft: Factory of Sadness version 3.0
By Mike Graham
Who will the Cleveland Browns select 49th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft? Our latest mock draft tries to predict the pick, in addition to the 7 other picks.
Two weeks until the 2019 NFL Draft which means it’s the perfect time for The Factory’s third mock draft of the season.
This mock goes two rounds deep, yet again, so that fans of the Cleveland Browns can get a sense of where the general manager John Dorsey will head when he makes his first pick on day two.
Some in the media are debating whether Dorsey will trade back up into the first round. While it probably wouldn’t take much to get it done, it’s probably unlikely. The Browns filled major needs this offseason by way of trade and a few free-agent signings.
It’s also worth noting that it’s been reported how Dorsey doesn’t see a lot of first-round talent beyond the top 15 picks. It’s hard to believe he’d give up assets to move up into the first round for a player he has a second-round grade on.
With eight total picks in the draft, I’ll project on which players the Browns can add who will add depth in the second and third rounds. I”ll also explore who can bolster the bottom of the roster on day three.
This mock comes after some serious shakeups with the Browns’ organization. Since Mock Draft 2.0, the Browns traded Emmanuel Ogbah to the Kansas Chiefs for safety/slot corner Eric Murray, in addition to signing fee-agent safety Morgan Burnett. Will it impact what the Browns do? There’s only one way to find out…
