2019 Cleveland Browns schedules: Predicting wins, losses, reaction
Predicting wins and losses for the Cleveland Browns, now that the NFL has released its 2019 schedule, featuring the Browns plenty in primetime.
The schedule is here. The Cleveland Browns opponents are set. Sixteen games stand between those beloved orange helmets and what hopefully turns out to be their first playoff appearance since 2002.
Playing the schedule game is all part of the fun, but all the buildup to the release proved to be an epic boondoggle of journalistic values. Everybody was speculating on what might happen. After all, OBJ tweeted something about a Week 1 surprise.
This ambiguous Tweet had to have meant we were opening with the Jets. After all, OBJ played for the Jets, right? Oh, he played for the Giants? My 3-month old can connect the dots better that some of the powerhouse websites that wrote articles on this.
So, show me the person who had the Browns opening at the Titans. Anyone? OBJ? This is the same guy who took to Instagram to tell a million people that he wanted to be left alone. He could’ve just not done anything and texted his closes friends to make this statement. Love that he’s catching football in Cleveland now, but pardon me for not getting too excited about his schedule take.
Leading up to the reveal, “Big-time” reporters started leaking out games, which left us to tweets from Mary Kay Cabot telling us what games the Browns wouldn’t be playing in. Almost wanted to quit Twitter.
The hype around the secrecy of the schedule release is what baffles me. It’s not a national secret. The NFL actually tells us what will happen. They even encourage to watch and buy tickets to the event. Treating the release like the Watergate scandal is something that will continue to confuse me…be right back..have to yell at someone to get off my grass…
All right, we know who the opponents are, so what record can we expect from the Browns in 2019?
