Picks 6-10

6. New York Giants-Dwayne Haskins-QB-Ohio St.-Again stacking the board, and needing a QB, the Giants sit at 6 and take Dwayne Haskins ti be Eli Manning‘s heir apparent.

7. Jacksonville-Drew Lock-QB-Missouri-I believe in Nick Foles too, but I believe he isn’t a long term answer for the Jags. If Foles plays well, the Jags won’t be near a top pick next season, so Jacksonville secures its future now with Drew Lock, as opposed to trying to get to pick 2 or 3 next year from pick 17.

8. Detroit-Jawaan Taylor-T-Florida-I mentioned last mock that Matthew Stafford was sacked 87 times the last two years. The Lions’ quarterback is 31, so the front office decides its time to invest in some protection with the pick of Jawaan Taylor.

9. Buffalo-Ed Oliver-DT-HoustonEd Oliver is a wrecking machine inside and with Harrison Phillips and Star Lotuleiei being more run stuffers, the Bills should invest in a pass rusher inside to balance the line.

10. Denver-TJ Hockenson-TE-Iowa-With this pick, T.J. Hockenson is the best weapon available for the Broncos after three QBs flew off the board before John Elway could find his long-term answer.
