Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. posted a screen shot of a text conversation with Colin Cowherd, trying to show the radio host is fake.

The Cleveland Browns have been a big topic for Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd lately, and things are starting to get good.

First, Cowherd began the NFL season by going after Baker Mayfield, but now he’s going wild for Odell Beckham Jr.

Cowherd was trying to make the case the OBJ has been more of a headache, rather than someone who can lift a team during his NFL career. His evidence? He ranked the top 10 moments of OBJ’s career. Only one item on the list had to do with a good football play. Of course, Cowherd was referring to OBJ’s one-handed grab.

Here’s Cowherd’s Top 10: 1. The Catch; 2. Traded to Browns; 3. Boat; 4. Fight with net; 5. Proposing to net; 6. Paris hotel room; 7. Commercial with Eli; 8. Meltdown in tunnel; 9. Fight with Josh Norman; 10. Peeing in end zone.

Beckham took offense to Cowherd’s words, trying to expose Cowherd as a fake by posting a screen shot of a text conversation the two had following the receiver’s trade to the Browns.

OBJ also tweeted that Cowherd had “Gone too far” and asked Cowherd to not put stuff out on social media that he would not say in person.

Mayfield got involved, too, setting his sights on Cowherd.

While Clevelanders have already anointed Baker as the next great franchise quarterback, Cowherd hasn’t been shy about sharing his doubts.

This story is interesting, because it’s easy for the public to assume that it’s easy for professional athletes to blow off the things said about them on blogs, socials, TV and radio.

Cowherd is one of the best in the business, whether you like him or not. He makes millions of dollars to talk about sports because he entertains four four hours a day, five days per week.

Writers, reporters and broadcasters have a fine line to walk because to be good, they have to be critical of the subjects they cover and talk about. Based off the text OBJ posted,  he clearly thinks Cowherd is being two-faced.

Odell made headlines this week for attending the first day of Browns’ OTAs, but then missing day two. The Browns are “sure” he’ll be there when the team reports for mandatory minicamp June 4.
