2019 NBA Mock Draft: Cleveland Cavaliers land three 1st-round picks
By Mike Graham
Picks 16-20
16. Orlando-Romeo Langford-G-Indiana-Another upside pick here, the Magic gamble that the shooting woes Langford had were from his thumb injury, if they were, he can be a steal here.
17. Cleveland-Goga Bitadze-C-Buducnost-The Cavs add another first-rounder thanks to the aforementioned trade with the Atlanta Hawks. So, who exactly is Goga Bitadze? Think of him as a Goran Vujevic type center, meaning he is offensively skilled, but maybe a little behind on defense.
New Cavaliers coach John Beilein has been good at developing skilled big men and this affords Altman the chance to take a swing on Goga at No. 17.
18. Indiana-Carsen Edwards-PG-Purdue-I am higher on Edwards than most, Pacers always seem to need another PG, and Edwards is creative and can be a knock down secondary ballhandler at worst.
Pacers win the press conference here, too, taking one of the stars of the NCAA tournament who happened to play for the in-state Boilermakers.
19. San Antonio-Jaxson Hayes-C-Texas-Hayes is a few years away, but he gives the Spurs a future Jarrett Allen-type with some more offensive upside.
20. Boston-Luka Samanic-F-Petrol Olimpjia–Danny Ainge and the Celtics, if they keep these picks will surely sent one overseas.
