The Cavs got shooting

John Beilein loves shooters, which is good, because the entire NBA is 3-point crazy.

The Cavs addressed the 3-point craze by taking Garland, a player who drew rave reviews for the long ball throughout the pre-draft process. Unfortunately, he played little in college before suffering a knee injury. Before he went down, he was lights out from downtown.

Following the selection of Windler, Kyle Korver’s name was brought up by the ESPN crew. If you an find the next Korver with the 26th pick in the draft, your team’s doing something right.

Porter shot 41.2 percent from 3-point range and brings with him the expected ability that he can create his own shot.

These players will join Collin Sexton, who worked very hard in improving his 3-point shot as a rookie. He was rewarded by breaking the record for most 3-pointers made by a rookie in a season, previously held by Kyrie Irving.

We all know Love and shoot the three and is one of the best stretch-4’s in the game when. healthy. Even Larry Nance Jr. has been working on his outside shot in an effort to add the long ball to his repertoire.

What will it all look like under Beilein. There’s only one way to find out, and we’ll have to wait until fall.
