Cleveland Browns: 5 veterans in danger of being cut after Training Camp
Five Cleveland Browns veterans who may end up being cut when general manager John Dorsey puts his final roster together later this summer.
The Cleveland Browns are enjoying their vacation before the next sixth months get committed to football.
However, following minicamp, fans have a better idea of who will be competing for roster spots come training camp.
The Browns enter the season loaded with expectations, evidenced by ESPN picking Cleveland to win at least 10 games.
With the Baker Mayfield–Odell Beckham connection expected to take Browns’ football to levels never before seen, the sky seems to be the limit for this year’s group of men wearing orange helmets.
This season is unlike anything a generation of Browns fans have ever known. Previous seasons dating back to 1999 have been spent analyzing bad rosters that weren’t going to win over four games.
It was especially tough during the 1-31 years of 2016 and 2017. But this year is different. The Browns are better from top to bottom, which means it’s going to be harder for players to earn their stripes.
So, which veterans are in danger of being cut. Here’s a preview of what may come later this summer.
