Cleveland Browns preseason player rankings led by Baker Mayfield, OBJ
Players 51-56
51. Charley Hughlett: You never notice the long snapper unless he gets the jitters. To this point, Hughlett has been superb at his job.
52. Ray Ray Armstrong: Armstrong picked up a little buzz toward the end of last season mainly because he’s strong against the run. He graded out with a score of 71.0 against the run by Pro Football Focus, which is considered above average.
53. Brian Fineangaofo: He’s one of the team’s undrafted free agents who have a litigate shot to make the team out of training camp. He played mostly left tackle in college and at 6-foot-6, 296 pounds, he possesses a combination of athleticism and speed that should catch coaches’ attention.
54. Pharaoh Brown: Seems like you’ll read something every now and then about the Browns really like this tight end who spent time on the practice squad last season. There’s only one thing left for Brown to do, show up and show out on film. If he wants to knock DeValve off the roster, that’s what he’ll have to do.
55. Tavierre Thomas: The 23-year-old product of Ferris State has will be thirst into the battle to be one of the Browns’ backup corner backs.
56. Phillip Gaines: Has allowed a passer rating of 100 or more in his last three seasons, according to Pro Football Focus. Not good. With that said, is solid against the run. Another depth piece for head coach Freddie Kitchens.
