Cleveland Browns preseason player rankings led by Baker Mayfield, OBJ
Players 31-35
31. Demetrius Harris: This tight end was signed by John Dorsey and the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2013. He’s a versatile player who can do a little bit of everything.
32. Britton Colquitt: Was 12th in the NFL, averaging 45.4 yards per punt a season ago. If only Browns’ special teamer could get to the ball quicker, though. Cleveland ended up being 29th in net punting average (39.6 yards).
33. Mack Wilson: There’s skepticism surrounding Wilson considering armchair quarterbacks had Wilson going to the Browns in the second round. The Alabama product didn’t end up being picked until the fifth. Fortunately, the reviews on Wilson have been positive in the early going, as its even been described that he looks like a “steal” in the fifth round.
34. Greg Joseph: He’s got a lot to prove in camp, especially since the Browns’ spent a draft pick on Austin Seibert to challenge Joseph. Credit the Browns for spending a pick on Seibert though. If Joseph can’t beat out a rookie who didn’t attempt many kicks over 50 yards while in college, how do you feel about in in November, on the road against the Steelers.
. Dontrell Hilliard: If the Browns got what they wanted for Johnson, the running back probably would’ve been dealt. There was a lot of positive talk surrounding Hilliard coming out of minicamp, so if the Browns’ asking price is met for Duke, they’ll likely be fine with Hillard being his replacement.
35. Trevon Coley: This interior defensive lineman’s play was so alarming, it forced the Browns to do something in free agency.
