If these eight players are released, they may find their next NFL home with the Cleveland Browns based off connections to coaches and the front office.

With training camp here, and expectations and excitement around the Browns being at a fever pitch, I wanted to take a look away from the top of the roster and dig a little at the bottom of the roster at cuts or possibly a trade to look for that can impact the Browns.

Specifically let’s look at teams where some of the brain trust of the Browns came from: The Chiefs, Packers, Bucs and Cardinals.

The Browns have already dipped in their rolodex of previous spots in the offseason with the additions of linebacker Adarius Taylor from Tampa, and previously Carolina, having experience with both Steve Wilks and Todd Monken.

Tight end  Demetrius Harris with interior lineman Eric Kush and Bryan Witzman who had runs in Kansas City with John Dorsey, along with Eric Murray who was traded for Emmanuel Ogbah.

Safety Morgan Burnett out of Green Bay, and of course back to Kansas City for Kareem Hunt who will join the Browns backfield in week nine.

Here’s 5 players the Browns may find themselves looking at as players begin waiving/cutting players leading up to the beginning of the regular season.
