8 potential cuts Cleveland Browns may watch waiver wire for in 2019

3. Rakeem Nunez-Roches, DT
The Browns are top heavy at defensive tackle. Depth is needed, which is why it may be worth keeping an eye on Tampa defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
The fifth-year veteran was a Dorsey draftee from his days in Kansas City as well and he’s a player who can take care of that depth problem.
The majority of Nunez-Roches playing time came during the 2016-2017 seasons with the Chiefs. He played in 27 games with Kansas City in that time, starting 16. He only totaled 1.5 sacks.
The Chiefs parted ways with Nunez-Roches after the 2017 campaign, and he hung around Indianapolis’ roster a little bit before signing with Buccaneers. He only played in three games with the Bucs last season. He was re-signed in March.
Just by gauging his recent activity, Nunez-Roches by no means has a roster spot locked up in Tampa, which is why these dots are easy to connect with Dorsey perusing the waiver wire.
