3. Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi

The clock is ticking and midnight isn’t all that far away for Cinderella story Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi.

Sheehy needs a great game because he’s last on the unofficial depth chart at receiver and on punt return duty.

This is after a tough practice week in which Sheehy dropped too many balls during his reps as a wideout. Then, he wasn’t able to get anything going in the punt return game.

To make matters worse, he suffered a rib injury during the contest. For a guy trying to earn an NFL paycheck, an injury is the worst possible thing that can happen.

He returned to practice on Tuesday, and with time running out on his tryout with the Browns, he’s got to do something the front office won’t forget.

D’Ernest Johnson looks to be on the right side of the bubble entering the third preseason contest, which means the path for Sheehy to make the squad gets harder.

Both Dontrell Hilliard and Johnson are ahead of Sheehy on the team’s unofficial depth chart and with Kareem Hunt suspended for the first eight games of the season, but are expected to make the 53-man roster.
