Not a great effort from Greg Robinson, who had first glance, seemed to struggle with footwork.

Then there was the holding penalty on the same play a defensive pass interference was called on the player covering Rashard Higgins in the end zone.

There’s a lot on the line for both the Browns and Robinson this season.

Robinson signed a one-year contract after playing solidly in the final eight games of the 2018 season. Robinson replaced rookie Desmond Harrison and it’s like the Browns had an epiphany at the left tackle spot.

Even the most diehard fan wasn’t proclaiming to be elite, but he was a heck-of-a-lot better than Harrison.

After the season, rumors started to break that the Browns were looking to extend the former No. 2 overall pick, and they reached an agreement on a one-year deal.

A good season could result in a huge pay day for Robinson, who many pundits wrote off as a bust following his departures from the Rams.

The Browns are his third team, and there’s the hope he’s figured things out as he enters his fifth season.
