The Cleveland Browns wrap up the preseason against the Detroit Lions, and these six Browns are fighting for a job on the final 53-man roster.

Just one more game to play and then it starts to count for the Cleveland Browns and their fans, who can’t wait to get the 2019 season started.

Of course, the preseason wraps up against the Detroit Lions in the annual Great Lakes Classic.

No starters are expected to play when the Browns take the field at FirstEnergy Stadium, and heck, key backups probably won’t see the field, either.

This game is all about settling position battles low on the depth chart, while getting a final look at some players who will hopefully impact the squad moving forward.

For others, the fourth preseason game is a chance to accumulate some game film. David Blough has been a nice find, but he’s poised to land elsewhere after the final roster is put together, so get ready to see a lot of the Purdue product.

While some causal fans will take this one off, the diehards will be watching because this an important game for guys fighting for their NFL lives because only 53 players make the final roster. The Browns will have to trip their preseason roster of about 90 players down before the deadline.

This game will be huge for these six Browns who are fighting for a job as the preseason wraps against the Lions.

Final rosters must be set before 4 p.m. on Aug. 31.
