Ohio State football: 5 Buckeyes who will be early-round NFL Draft picks in 2020
By Mike Graham
3. Malik Harrison, LB
Next up is the senior linebacker, Malik Harrison, a former three-star recruit, who has gotten better every year at Ohio State.
He tied for the team lead at tackles last season with 81, and recorded 8.5 tackles for loss. He possesses excellent size for a linebacker, and ideally on the outside in a 4-3 scheme, or as a dime backer in sub packages.
I have him in the third round area now with potential to rise if he makes more impact plays on the ball. The opportunity will certainly be there for the senior.
4. Jordan Fuller, S
Jordan Fuller returned for his senior year, tied with Malik Harrison with 81 tackles, and recorded one interception and two fumble recoveries for the Buckeyes.
Fuller’s value is that he can play either safety spot, as well, in addition to sliding down and covering receivers. Fuller also play special teams, which will only increase his value early on for an NFL club.
If he can make more plays on the ball, he’ll likely will go in the first four rounds.
