1. Garret going to feast

Myles Garrett had the Dawg Pound salivating during the preseason. In very limited action, Garrett look unblock able. Now he looks poised to break the Browns’ single-season sack record of 14, which was set by Reggie Camp in 1984.

So, what makes the Titans so vulnerable?

Starting left tackle Taylor Lewan will be serving the first of a four-game suspension during Week 1, meaning reserve tackle Dennis Kelly will be filling in. Kelly played mostly right tackle last season, so all he needs to do is adjust playing on the opposite side against one of the NFL’s premier pass rushers.

It’s not like Kelly is going into the game green. He’s played the position before and the Titan coaches believe he’s done a fine job throughout Training Camp.

Garrett recorded 13.5 sacks a season ago, and the defensive line is one of the most improved areas of the team. The Browns replaced subpar performances from Emmauel Ogbah with a proven veteran in Olivier Vernon to take pressure off Garrett.

Vernon is going to go up against fourth-year veteran Jack Conklin, and OV should see a ton of one-on-one matchups with the Titans paying a lot of attention to Garrett. Look for Tennessee to chip block Garrett with tight ends and backs in an effort to slow him down.

On the interior, Larry Ogunjobi is a threat to get to the quarterback, while Sheldon Richardson is, too, coming off a 4.5 sack season for the Vikings last season.
