3. Mayfield will distribute

Browns fans have been waiting since March for this. Baker Mayfield will finally be able to drop back and Odell Beckham Jr. will be an active target.

A recent NFL.com preview of the game said Mayfield can’t lock on OBJ. The second-year veteran must be able to get other players involved.

That won’t be a problem for Mayfield. His ability to distribute the ball and not lock onto one receiver is what made the former Heisman winner so great as a rookie.

Five different players on last season’s roster had 500 or more receiving yards, which is evidence of Mayfield’s ability to place the ball where it needs to go.

OBJ will be drawing plenty of attention from the defense, and that’s fine. Mayfield will have Jarvis Landry and then Rashard Higgins, with whom he’s shown to have a great chemistry with.

Other targets include tight end David Njoku and running back Nick Chubb, whose ability to catch balls out of the backfield has hade him a top fantasy football threat.

Chubb will also be called upon to rush the ball. The Titans defense allowed an 88.4 passer rating, which was eighth in the NFL a season ago. If the Browns are effective running the ball, the defense should soften up for Mayfield.
