4. O-line getting a break

The Browns’ offensive line is one of the team’s biggest areas of concern entering the 2019 season.

Cleveland lost Kevin Zeitler during the offseason, and the veteran right guard was one of the best pass blockers in the game. You’ve got to give something to get something though, and Zeitler was part of the mega-trade for Vernon and OBJ.

Zeitler’s former position remains as unstable as ever, as the Browns spent the entire Training Camp trying to find his replacement. Eric Kush “won” the job, but the spot is far from solidified. General manager John Dorsey made some trades to bolster depth at the job, while 33rd overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft, Austin Corbett, will start the season on the bench.

Additionally, Greg Robison proved to be a Godsend last season after taking over for Desmond Harrison halfway through the season, but he’s far from an elite blind-side protector. He’s good enough, though, and that may end up being fine for this season as long as Dorsey gets his act together and finds a identifies a replacement during the next offseason.

Now that the gloom and doom is out of the way, take solace in knowing the line will get a break. The Titans were 16th in the NFL last season with 39 sacks. Cameron Wake was added to bolster their sack total in the 3-4 base defense, but he’s 37 now.

Wake has 98.0 career quarterback takedowns, but he had a major drop off last season, recording just 7.0 sacks in 14 games.
