Four Cleveland Browns whose stock is down following the Browns’ 23-3 victory over the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.

The Cleveland Browns were victorious on Monday Night Football, beating the New York Jets’ JV-squad, but all is far from well around Browns’ Town.

The 23-3 victory can be considered a beat down, because it’s hard to win by 20 in the NFL. Some don’t view that way, though.

The Browns’ looked clunky, especially on offense, as Freddie Kitchens’ play calling was inconsistent.  The Jets are so bad, the Browns were able to win by 20, although they needed three field goals from Austin Seibert, who is one of five Browns to see their stocks go up, to have such a large margin of victory.

When you’re settling for 3, instead of getting 6, well, that shows a letdown.

While it wasn’t pretty, the Browns victory puts the franchise in the win column. I mean, when’s the last time this team started the season 1-1? By pulling to .500, the Browns improved their playoff chances exponentially. In victory, Cleveland now has a 50 percent chance at the postseason. A loss would’ve decreased their odds to 10 percent.

The victory also came on the day that it was revealed Ben Roethlisberger would be lost for the season. I still think the Steelers will be competitive, but I’m thinking 7-9 is a more appropriate record for them now. The Bengals stink, so that could mean it comes down the Ravens and Browns.

Cleveland gets a tall order in the Rams on Sunday Night Football in Week 3, but so does Baltimore, who will be tasked with trying to stop Patrick Mahomes.

These four Browns saw their stocks go down, even in victory, so hopefully they get things turned around in time for the big matchup against LA.
