The Cleveland Browns loss on Sunday Night Football further magnified the team’s problems, and these five players saw their stocks plummet.

Appearing on Sunday Night Football for the first time in 11 years, the Cleveland Browns turned in the same results, giving their rabid fan base a loss, this time to the LA Rams, 20-13.

Cleveland’s were amped for the primetime lights, yet the Browns turned in another clunker, dropping another contest at home.

Penalties continued to plague the Browns, especially on offense, as serious questions have to be directed at first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens regarding the team’s preparation.

There are no moral victories, especially in a win-starved town like Cleveland, but for as clunky as the Browns were, Cleveland was right there at the end. This game could’ve been a blowout in the Rams favor, and really, no one would’ve been surprised.

After a three-point first half, the Browns were at least treated to a halftime show that saw Clay Matthews inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor. He was even surprised by his son, Rams’ linebacker Clay Matthews III during the ceremony.

The Browns couldn’t send our Clay off with a win, though.

And if the 2019 version of our orange helmets are going to be better, and contend for a playoff spot like they’re used to, the team is  going to have to have players play better. Novel idea, right?

These five players, in particular, saw their stocks go down and need to be better moving forward as the Browns head to an always tough venue in Baltimore, for Week 4.
