Cleveland Browns: 5 Browns whose stock is way up after Ravens blowout
4. Joe Schobert, LB
Joe Schobert is becoming a regular-appearance on this list, and while I’m sure he’ll be charged with a couple missed tackles, don’t let that takeaway from the big picture.
Schobert totaled 17 tackles and continued to make impact plays.
He, along with Jermaine Whitehead, had the big hits on Mark Ingram which forced a critical fumble in the third quarter. It’s the third straight contest Schobert has been involved on a play that resulted in a turnover.
In the box score, he was also credited with a tackle for a loss and a quarterback hit. Jackson a hard quarterback to bring down, so anytime you can get a hand on him behind the line of scrimmage is worth talking about.
Schobert looks like a Pro Bowler and he’s coming on at an opportune time. His need for a new contract is well known. He’s making plays and is more than just “a quarterback on defense”
