The Cleveland Browns have unraveled before our very eyes following another embarrassing loss, this time to the Denver Broncos.

Things could not have gone worse for the Cleveland Browns, as the team is unraveling before our very eyes.

It’s been just a short while since the game ended, but there’s a lot to digest. Here’s four face palms for you…

1. A Twitter account, claiming to be that of Cleveland Browns’ safety Jermaine Whitehead, has apparently been suspended. Whomever made the Tweets, (cannot confirm it was Whitehead) cursed out Dustin Fox, a man the team pays as part of the Cleveland Browns Radio Network.

The language used is not safe for work, so it can’t be published here, but if you want the Twitter link, here it is.

The big question, was, was it Whitehead? The Athletic’s Zac Jackson tweeted how the Browns PR department got Whitehead the heck out of the locke room because he was “Still in full uniform while he was sending the tweets.”

2. Odell Beckham is starting to crack. Apparently, while walking off the field, Beckham made the following the comment.

"“I can’t get the ball to save my life.”"

Purely speculation here, but based off how hot Beckham looked on the sideline after Baker Mayfield didn’t even look at him on the Browns’ final offensive play of the game on 4th and 1, you’ve got to think OBJ has reached a tipping point.

He became a regular complainer when the Giants were losing and he wasn’t getting the ball. Well, the same thing is happening now in Cleveland.

3. Speaking of the Beckham, he and Jarvis Landry were told to change their cleats during halftime because the shoes they were sporting in the first half went against the NFL’s uniform policy.

Landry wore cleats paying homage, I guess, to The Joker, while Landry sported gold footwear.

This is the second time–that we know of–that Beckham has broken the uniform policy. CBS’ broadcasters mentioned how much the two could be fined, but obviously, they don’t care.

Everyone else seems to be able to follow the uniform code, but not these two. It makes Freddie Kitchens, who already looks like he’s in over his head, appear to have no control over a team that’s already perceived as undisciplined.

4. When Baker Mayfield was asked about the outside talk of Freddie Kitchens being on the hottest, Mayfield said it was just that: Outside talk. He basically said that inside the building, the Browns know what’s up and they just must execute to succeed.

The truth is Mayfield and Kitchens are tied together in this debacle of a season and Baker’s liking to Kitchens was one of the big reasons Kitchens got the job.

The franchise bet it all on Baker, and went with Kitchens, because who could blame them at the time. Mayfield had just finished a historic season, statistically speaking.

Now, Mayfield has the lowest completing percentage in football and everyone wants Freddie fired.

dark. Next. Browns: Here come the McCarthy rumors

To see that the Brown season is over in the first week of November is something nobody, probably not even Mayfield’s toughest critics, would’ve ever predicted.
