Five Cleveland Browns whose stocks are down following a win, against the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium, Dec. 8.

The Cleveland Browns made history at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday. By defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the first installment of the Battle of Ohio, the Browns earned victories over each AFC North rival for the first time…EVER.

It’s really a sad statistic, but take the accolades as you can get them, especially since there won’t be a postseason come January.

It means nothing in this lost season of high expectations, but these things do matter. The Browns need to reverse 20 years of losing, and it’s got to start somewhere. Hopefully, they’ll finish this season with a winning mark for the first time since 2007.

The next step, of course, would be to win the season opener. You know that’s a long shot, though.

As for the Bengals game, the Browns won the Sadness Bowl as the two downtrodden franchises played a contest in which tickets were reportedly being sold for $9.

There was some good, as these five players saw their stocks go up, but there was plenty of frustration to go around, too.

As Browns fans, we know never to take wins for granted, but these five players saw their stocks go down.
