Five Cleveland Browns whose stocks are down after another shockingly bad loss to another supposed inferior team, the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cleveland Browns and “debacle” have become synonymous during the 2019 season, as those orange helmets keptthe trend rolling with a disappointing, blowout road-loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Go ahead and throw Freddie Kitchens on this list, because this one was supposed to be slam dunk for the first year head coach. Prior to the contest, there were rumors of a split between Jimmy Haslam and John Dorsey on Kitchens’ future.

The feeling was Kitchens would keep his job. But now? The Browns are poised to finish with a worse record than last year. Would Haslam flex his ownership muscle and go against Dorsey’s wishes?

Someone has to be held accountable for this mess, and I don’t think it should be Dorsey. The GM made a mistake. With that said, he’s shown an ability to find good players. He deserves another crack at it, although I might take the analytics candidates a little more seriously.

Kitchens and Steve Wilks had so much to prove in this game, it boggles the mind how the Browns played so uninspired. Kitchens was an assistant in Arizona for 11 years. He could never reach coordinator status there. Shouldn’t he have been burning like heck to show what they all missed?

As for Wilks, he was fired as Arizona’s head coach after one season. He then brought the Browns in and his defense basically quit, playing against a team that fields a rookie quarterback with zero playmakers to complement him. Scratch that. Wilks and his unit made a Player of the Week candidate in Kenyan Drake.

The losses continue to mount as  7-9, and dare I say it, 6-10 look like a real possibility. Yes, losing to the Bengals in Cincinnati is on the table.
