These Cleveland Browns are downright unlikable, says Voice of the Fan

The Cleveland Browns embarrassed themselves, and their fan base yet again, getting blown out by the three-win Arizona Cardinals.

The Cleveland Browns are an embarrassment to watch. Paul Brown is spinning in his grave. You definitely can’t root for this group. Many a Browns team has stunk since 1999, but the current version is downright unlikeable. I’ve never seen such a lack of effort–even in the 16 loss season.

1. The first series by the Arizona Cardinals showed what we have seen too often in this Browns team! The Cards waltzed down the field with little effort and even less resistance to take a seven point lead!

2. The 2019 Browns have a knack for making a bad team look good. There is little or no effort on both sides of the ball for this sad team. Only in Cleveland do the players supposedly get better and the team gets worse. Can we visit the Giants trade again and tell them NO?!

3. I know the hype was almost unbelievable at the start of the season. Most pundits said to relax that line of thinking some. But playoffs? Forget the playoffs. To play more poorly than last year’s team with the additions that were made is atrocious, not to mention a fireable offense.

4. OBJ has been nothing more than a Twitter rampage. Yes Odell, we saw the drop in the first half. There’s a large lack of effort on this team and little to no leadership.

5. To start the game, the Browns deferred (why?) and Arizona marched down the field like they’re the reincarnation of the Patriots.

6. The tackling by the defense is defenseless and abominable to say the least! This three-win team makes the Browns look like they are the team with only three victories.

7. This debacle can’t be pinned on injuries or even missing Myles Garrett in the pass rush. What these games do show is a MAJOR discrepancy in coaching. The players are there, except on the offensive line.

8. Only in Cleveland do the players supposedly get better and the team gets worse. Can we visit the Giants trade again and tell them NO?!

10. The defense acts like it just doesn’t care and forgets how to even tackle! The receivers complain about not getting the ball like Jarvis did in the fourth quarter. Try getting open and see what happens.

11. Kenyan Drake is the first Cardinal player to rush for four touchdowns since 1993. Does that tell you how hot the mess is on defense? Wilks’ unit is uninspired and lacks intensity and passion.

12. They’ll get no respect until they show the effort it takes to win consistently! Not just one or three games. I see two or three players looking like they show the intensity needed to win in this league.

13. Freddie, you can’t always be a friend. You’re  a coach and times you must go off on a player or twenty! Steve Wilks you need a different defense here. Less zone, or off-man coverage and teach tackling 101 because this team couldn’t tackle a paper sack!
