What a 2010-2019 Cleveland Browns All-Decade Team could look like
By Chad Porto
The Cleveland Browns had a huge honor recently but what would a Cleveland Browns All-Decade team from 2010-2019 look like? Let’s find out.
Former Cleveland Browns players Joe Thomas and Alex Mack repped the club with a rare nod by the NFL for being selected to the 2010-2019 All-Decade team.. The Browns and “good”, that’s new. Will, it will be when it happens. The Browns have had a rough decade and since it’s over, it won’t ever be better. The 2010-2019 seasons marked an awful stretch where the team never had a winning record.
The team did win seven games twice though, so hey, progress?
What would an All-Decade team look like for the Browns? Well, probably not great but hey, we’re going to do that exact thing today. The Browns have to have enough players to round out 52 spots, right?
Right?
Oh geez, this is going to be rough.
Here are the rules, the team will be made up of two quarterbacks, four backs, five-wide receivers, ten linemen and three tight ends on offense for a total of 24 spots. On defense, you’ll have nine linemen, seven linebackers, and eight defensive backs for another 24 spots. Then the special teams will feature two returners, a kicker and a punter. We’ll round out the list with three coaches (of any position).
That’s how this is going to look. These are my personal selections based on individual season success, team success, how they fit into the team chemistry and frankly just if I liked them or not; because it’s my opinion.
Don’t worry, there aren’t 54 slides coming…
