What a 2010-2019 Cleveland Browns All-Decade Team could look like

Special Teams:

Hey, finally, some obvious candidates, and three head coaches who wouldn’t be head coaches on any other team. Yay, being a Browns fan isn’t totally disappointing.

KR/PR Travis Benjamin

Underappreciated in his era as a returner for the Browns. Travis Benjamin put up good numbers across the board, even as a receiver, but this is the slot that gets him on the All-Decade team.

KR/PR Josh Cribbs

This shouldn’t be a surprise. Josh Cribbs could be a viable Hall of Fame candidate if voters acknowledged that special teams matter. They do, you know, and Cribbs is among four names of the last 20-years to revolutionize the position.

Kicker Phil Dawson

He’s number four in your program, number one in your hearts but number two on the All-Time points leaderboard for Cleveland Browns players. Only Lou Groza has more. Honestly, the Browns should coax him out of retirement, regardless of his age. A 65-year-old kicker in 2040? Sign him, coach. It’s always Dawson-tie.

Punter Britton Colquitt

I had to have a punter somewhere. Dave Zastudil and Chris Gardocki were from the ’00s.

HC Mike Pettine

He had seven wins in one season.

INTERIM HC Gregg Williams

He took over midway through the 2018 season and had a winning record in 2018. Suck it, Bill Belichick. Your six SuperBowls have no power over Gregg Williams 5-3 Browns record. Seriously, the best winning percentage of any coach since 1999.

OC/HC Rob Chudzinski

He was from Ohio and got shafted, even if he wasn’t the right hire in the first place. It was either Chudzinski or that Freddie Kitchens from 2018 when he was the offensive coordinator. You pick. Plus, Chudzinski was the OC for the 2007 ten-win team.
