Cleveland Browns trade down for sleeper in 2020 2nd-round mock draft
The Cleveland Browns landed their tackle in the first round of the 2020 draft, so here’s a mock looking at what they’ll do in round two.
The Cleveland Browns have the 41st pick in the second round of the 2020 draft, so you may be disappointed to see Andrew Berry trade down.
We’re all just guessing, but oh, what fun it is. Here’s how I envision the second-round shaking out.
33. Bengals, Yetur Gross-Matos, DE Penn State
With Joe Burrow in the fold, the Bengals already have a strong running game, in addition to two potential 1,000-yard receivers. It’s time to address the defense and they do so with Gross-Matos.
34. Colts, Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
Phillip Rivers isn’t going to be there long, so you better get him some targets.
35. Lions, Xavier McKinney, S Alabama
Matt Patricia needs to win fast, and this pick probably results in a day one starter for Detroit.
36. Giants, Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor
New coach Joe Judge has to make Danny Dimes workout at quarterback, and the Giants’ receiving game needs a lot of help after the trade of OBJ last offseason.
37. Chargers, A.J. Epenesa, DE Iowa (from Patriots)
Trade: LA moves up, giving New England N0 52, as well as their 2021 second-round selection.
