NFC North

Chicago – TE Cole Kmet (Notre Dame), CB Jaylon Johnson (Utah)

A lot of people spoke volumes about Cole Kmet staying local. That’s nice. He hates the Cubs, so let that sink in. Jaylon Johnson is a good nickel prospect with starter potential. The Bears weren’t sexy but they were effective.

Grade: B- (This team is a mess and needed some creative drafting to untangle it.)

Detroit – RB D’Andre Swift (Georgia), OLB Julian Okwara (Notre Dame), IL Jonah Jackson (OSU)

Matt Patricia might be gone in a matter of games once the 2020 season starts. D’Andre Swift should be a terrific back for the team, and they greatly improved a weak defense. At least on paper. Cus you know, anything can happen.

Grade: A- (They’re making the right picks, we’ll see.)

Minnesota – OT Ezra Cleveland (Boise State), CB Cameron Dantzler (Mississippi State)

The Vikings picked up the player Cleveland should’ve taken if not just for the name alone. Ezra Cleveland is an instant starter for the Vikings, and much like their first round, the team addressed their depleted secondary with a solid cornerback in round three.

Grade: A (Ezra Cleveland is someone I’m that impressed with.)

Green Bay – RB A.J. Dillion (Boston College), TE Josiah Deguara (Cinncinati)

Either the Packers expect to let either/both Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams leave after this year, or they don’t know what they’re doing. Josiah Deguara is a good pick, even if he has bleached hair. Who does that in 2020? You know what, no. No one with bleached hair can be a good pick. What does that say about their decision making?

Grade: D- (Aaron Rodgers should be shipped to New England for those drapes in Belichicks’ dining room.)
