Did the Cleveland Browns sign any undrafted free agents who can make the team?
By Chad Porto
The Cleveland Browns have signed 15 undrafted free agents that we’re aware of, but are any of them candidates for making the Browns opening day roster?
Ever since Josh Cribbs, modern fans of the Cleveland Browns look forward to seeing who the team scouts and signs from the undrafted free agent pool after the last pick is made. Ironically enough, one of the few teams that had a better draft on paper than the Browns were the Baltimore Ravens and they already trumped the Browns; again. It was announced that little known RB/FB Bronson Rechsteiner has already signed with the Baltimore based club. Who is Reschsteiner?
The son and nephew of Rick and Scott Steiner. The Browns didn’t get anyone THAT impressive but there are some guys to keep an out on. Below is a complete list of all the players we know so far who’ve signed with the team, courtesy of DawgsByNature.

Not a lot of big profile names on the list. Usually, there’s a few award winners or potential late-round guys that end up just missed getting drafted but the team didn’t look to any of them. Someone like Dan Chisena would’ve been impressive. The former Penn State burner has elite NFL speed and could’ve come in and could have immediately been a force in the return game.
Of the names picked, Nate Wieting of Iowa is interesting. He’s posted a 40-time of 4.67 and has the versatility to play tight end and fullback. Not someone you build an offense around like a Travis Kelce (in theory) but he could come in as a third tight end if the team does move on from David Njoku sometime this off-season
Another guy that stands out is JaMarcus Bradley, the wideout from Lousiana Tech. He’s topped the track at a high of a 4.40 40-yard dash, though he’s more likely to run a high 4.40 or a low 4.50. Still fast as heck. With the Browns not seeing much value in the receiving corp at the top of the draft, to think the Browns are fine with just getting one, sixth-round, wide receiver option to bolster the staff is a bit laughable. Someone like Bradley has the speed to play in the NFL but does he have the hands?
Sound off if you think there’s anyone on the list that excites you.
