Cleveland Browns schedule game: Enough wins to end playoff drought?
Weeks 3-4
Week 3 vs Washington, Sept. 27: The Browns stay at home for the second straight week and their playoff chances improve dramatically with a win here.
This contest offers a look at what the Browns have in new left tackle Jedrick Wills, who will likely see plenty of matchups against No. 2 overall pick Chase Young.
Offensively, the Redskins have a quarterback who’s still finding his way and it’s unclear whether he has the confidence of the organization. Browns fans know all too well how that usually turns out. Browns win.
Record: 2-1
Week 4 at Dallas, Oct. 4: If you go by the theory that the better coach and quarterback win in the NFL, then this is a slam dunk for new hire Mike McCarthy and veteran Dak Prescott.
Stefanski is still unproven, but perhaps he pulls off a surprise here. Plus, Mayfield will be playing in his home state. With everyone doubting the former No. 1 overall pick after a lackluster 2018, perhaps the chip is back on his shoulder and he pulls off the upset.
I don’t see it.
Record: 2-2
