5. Tavierre Thomas

With Greedy Williams out, Tavierre Thomas is seeing extended playing time. While he received a higher coverage grade in Week 2 (57.5), compared to Week 1 (39.5), things are obviously not great.

Thomas was responsible for allowing nine catches for 69 yards as Joe Burrow and the Bengals methodically marched down the field to stay in the game.

Thomas added a team-high nine tackles, but was also credited with two missed tackles in the effort.

Through two games, Thomas seems to be a favorite blitzed of defensive coordinator Joe Woods. In Week 1, Thomas blitzed off the edge and came up with a sack of Lamar Jackson. He was put in the same position against Cincinnati, narrowly missing Burrow.

Terrance Mitchell and Denzel Ward were the Browns’ highest graded corners with marks of 76.2 and 76.0, respectively. Both were credited with deflecting three passes.
