Five Cleveland Browns whose stocks are down after the Week 6 Steelers stinker.
The image of Tim Couch clad in orange pants shimmying into the end zone back in 2003 is still THE memory of the last time the Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field.
Many though the Browns had a chance to upset Pittsburgh, as the Browns entered the contest riding a four-game winning streak, while starting to garner talk nationally of being a playoff team.
Instead, the upstart Browns looked more like the 0-16 Browns, as the quarterback, at times, couldn’t complete a pass. Additionally, the line couldn’t block and another diamond in the rough rookie receiver looks like he’s going to be the next big thing.
There was some good, but mostly bad. The huge bummer is knowing the Browns are an improved team. Finally! Unfortunately, the Steelers and Ravens keep getting better, too, and the gap between the upper echelon teams in the division is still vast.
Fortunately, the Browns get a cure-all medicine in the Bengals for Week 7. Until then, these five Browns saw their stocks plunge against the Steelers.
