4. Brian Poole, CB, Jets for late-round pick

Another Jet as Joe Namath’s once-proud franchise marches toward 0-16.

For the Browns, corner has become a priority because Greedy Williams can’t be counted on for the rest of 2020. He injured his shoulder during a tackling drill at camp. The Browns didn’t put him on the IR until recently, fueling speculation about what might be wrong with the LSU product as fans waited on a weekly basis for status updates.

If they Poole, the Browns would be getting PFF’s sixth highest-graded corner in 2020.

Put Poole opposite of Denzel Ward, along with Kevin Johnson in the slot, and the Browns’ cornerback rooms will be fine. Terrance Mitchell has been filling in for Williams, and he’s played well. That said, he really struggled against the Steelers’ James Washington in Week 6.

I’ve got a fourth-round pick here, but it all depends on the Jets’ asking price and the amount of teams competing for Poole.

Poole is playing under a one-year $5 million contract this season, so giving up the moon for a player who could be gone in 10 games is out of the question.
