6 Browns whose stock is booming after edging Eagles Week 11
6 Browns whose stock is up after Sunday’s win vs the Eagles.
Another crazy weather day on the lakefront gave the Cleveland Browns another obstacle to endure in the finale of a three-game home streak.
The Browns won two of those three contests by knocking out Carson Wentz and the Eagles, 22-17 to improve to 7-3 on the season.
Nothing went according to plan to star the game, as the Eagles didn’t a good job of shutting down both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt in the early going.
Baker Mayfield baffled the fan base by hitting a nice throw to Rashard Higgins, but then missing two open tight ends in the end zone minutes later.
Lo and behold, it was the defense that carried the day for the Browns, as the rain fell, all the while Paul DePodesta didn’t look so stupid for bypassing Wentz with the second pick in the 2016 draft.
Of course, there was a lot of good, definitely some bad, but Stefanski threw it all together and a win came out of the oven.
Here’s six players whose stock is booming as a result of the victory, as the Browns gain some ground in what promises to be a hotly contested Wild Card chase.
