Five Browns whose stock went down, even in victory, against the Jaguars.

The Cleveland Browns are at 8-3, but barely squeaked by the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars with a 27-25 win Week 12.

In victory, the Browns are in a prime spot to grab one of the AFC’s three Wild Card berths.

That said, Cleveland’s going to have start passing some tests to make true believers out of the NFL Twitteratti who put the Browns on blast for “only beating bad teams.”

Good teams beat bad teams, it’s what they do. You try and go .500 against teams with winning records and then hope a combination of skill and luck are on your side come playoff time.

That said, the Browns let a journeyman quarterback and lesser team hang around and it was too close for comfort. The team was without five players due to COVID-19 restrictions, which certainly didn’t help.

The Browns got away from Jacksonville with the win, but they’re going to have be a lot better to upend the Titans in Week 13.
