Browns star Myles Garrett is still undergoing post COVID-19 breathing treatments.

Myles Garrett at 90 percent is better than a lot of other defensive ends in the NFL, but it remains unclear when the Browns stud edge rusher will return to 100 percent after contracting COVID-19.

Garrett missed two games after becoming infected, and has played in two games since he was cleared to return.

Garrett was visibly having trouble breathing when the cameras panned on him during the Browns Sunday night victory. Additionally, he admitted to having a coughing fit in the locker room after the game.

The fourth-year veteran said he’s still taking breathing treatments and remains uncertain as to when he’ll truly be at 100 percent, via The Athletic.

"“I’m not sure how long it’s going to take for me to feel really 100 (percent) with my wind,” Garrett said. “Physically, speed and strength-wise, I feel normal. It’s just about trying not to gas out too early and trying to pace myself knowing it can jump on me rather quickly. I’m working at it every day.”"

Garrett is the epitome of physical fitness, an athlete at the top of his profession, and for COVID to be impacting him, in the prime of his life, is another reminder of the seriousness of the virus.

Ronnie’s return: It’s a Christmas present the Browns might not be able to unwrap until Jan. 3, but Ronnie Harrison was taken off the injured reserve list and is practicing. He could return against the Jets, or at the latest, against the Steelers in the season finale.

Through Dec. 22, Harrison graded out as PFF’s ninth best safety.

Speaking of safety: Andrew Senedjo (concussion) has been cleared to play after missing one game. Glad Sendejo’s doing well, but a Browns Christmas tree should have a starting safety corps of Sheldrick Redwine and Harrison.

While we’re talking injury: Wyatt Teller will miss at least one more game, but should be back for the finale against the Steelers. Look for Nick Harris to get the start, a fifth-round draft pick who did a solid job stepping in for Teller and Chris Hubbard Sunday night.

Mack Wilson could get a shot at redemption after being a healthy scratch against the Giants. Malcom Smith is batting a hamstring injury and didn’t practice Wednesday.

Next. 3 Jets to game plan for. dark

The Browns really like Phillips–especially his speed. He played 41 percent of the snaps against New York and I don’t really recall any major hiccups. It’ll be interesting to see who gets the playing time if Wilson is active.
