The Browns can’t catch a break and will once again battle the Steelers far from whole, as the two will clash in the rubber match on Sunday night.

The Browns and Steelers will meet for the third time this Sunday, despite the Browns dealing with a genuine outbreak of sorts over in Berea. The team has yet to practice all week, won’t have their head coach for Sunday and have had several key players like Ronnie Harrison and Joel Bitonio hit the shelf with positive COVID-19 cases. This has been a factor over the last three weeks, and even slightly before that, though on a more intimate level. Myles Garrett was besieged by the virus and missed two games and three weeks due to the illness.

An illness he still feels the effects of to this day.

In order to win on Sunday, however, the Browns will have to gameplan for these four Steelers.

TJ Watt/Cam Heyward

The duo of T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward is going to be one of their biggest challenges. Partly because the offensive line has been decimated by injuries and COVID-19. Joel Bitonio won’t be able to play due to COVID concerns, Nick Harris is on IR, Kendall Lamm wasn’t effective in his time replacing Jedrick Wills, Drew Forbes opted out during the pre-season due to concerns over COVID-19. Now the Browns are stuck with the possibility of former AAF and XFL player Michael Dunn. Dunn actually played well for both the Birmingham Iron of the AAF and the Seattle Dragons of the XFL.

That said, he’s untested against NFL talent. He’ll get a huge heap on Sunday Night if he does start, as he’ll have to worry about Cam Heyward for most of the night. When he’s not dealing with Heyward, he’ll have to deal with the interior blitz packaging that the Steelers bring to the table.

Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin will both have to worry about T.J. Watt depending on what side he lines up on. Watt is a strong player, who’s faster than people realize and can easily beat a tackle off the edge. Any success offensively will start with negating these two.
