Ohio State football: 6 Buckeyes who will be 1st-round NFL draft picks
2. Wyatt Davis, OG*
If teams view Davis as healthy after suffering a knee injury during the national championship, this stalwart should find himself going in the first round.
As a guard, Davis will probably have to wait until late in the first round to hear his name called, but the team who gets him should be getting a player they can insert on the offensive line on day one.
In his last two seasons (prior to the national championship game), Davis didn’t allow a sack on over 650 passing plays.
We’ll have to see if Davis announces he’s leaving school early. It looked as if he couldn’t put pressure on his leg. He was seen on crutches at the end of the game, according to Eleven Warriors.
He can always come back to school to send his stock back up.
However, if he’s able to work out and teams view him as being healthy, look for him to go late in the first. Unfortunately for Buckeye fans who double as Browns fans on Sundays, the Ravens and Steelers are both contenders to take him lower in the draft.
Additionally, McShay mocked Davis to the Bills late in the first round.
