The Cleveland Indians begin spring training this week, with pitchers and catchers reporting Wednesday, while the rest of the roster will formally check in at the ball park in Goodyear this weekend.

The 2021 season return a lot of familiar faces, but there will be some new names to learn as well.

The offseason was a busy one of the Tribe, as the organization dealt franchise player Francisco Lindor to the Mets. Talk of the team’s financial struggles getting through the pandemic was also a focal point as the fiscally conservative Tribe tightened their belts even more.

Alas, real live baseball is almost here, and while the Indians won’t be picked to win the division in 2021, the organization should be competing for a Wild Card berth.

With the new season, these are five debuts to look forward to, because if they all hit, Tribe Town could be in store for an unexpectedly fun summer.
